Nice family park

This park has new management and I was impressed with the organization and customer service. The activity fee let?s you enjoy the park as you wish. Also it is a bit higher price point that seems to keep the crazy down the road at cheaper parks. Stayed a Saturday to Tuesday and had a great relaxing stay.

Closed in April

Could not find this on their website, but they do not open until May. The very nice people there directed me to their overflow lot on the other side of the Thruway. I parked with the semis but it was free except for a dollar per hour for electric. Good deal.

Small friendly park

Stayed one night. Wanted to be close to Paul Bunyan trail and just wanted one more night o north. Very, very quite. Mostly seasonal sites. Saturday night and people just sat around their fires talking. No nightlife or activities.

Nice close to Mt. Olympus

Weekend trip after winning tickets to Mt. Olympus. Value - $9 each, but. That is a different review. Vet nice, helpful staff. Older park without a lot of extra, but great for our needs. Would recommend.

Small and friendly

Visited Fourth of July week. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Downside is when we arrived, July 4th naturally crowded and the spaces are tight and mostly just with water and electric. The next weekend, only about 25% full and plenty of space.
Used the showers to avoid dumping and while dated, extremely clean. Laundry a bit pricey but again nicer than most. Pool was nice and close to the bike path for easy access to Lake George. Would definitely stay again.

Mostly a weekend community

Needed a place with a pool and kid fun for a last minute Fathers Day one night get-a-way. They had space in this massive mostly seasonal sites resort. So one star. Everything clean and well cared for and a very nice staff. Another star Our site was perfect. Two more stars. Now the BUT. If this fits you, this is the place for you. Confederate flags, t-shirts and more loud country music blaring from the sites or ever more fun, their decorated golf cart until the rains came at 11:30. Got invited to an adults only midnight swim. Can only image what that was about. Not our crowd, but definitely a very nice park.

Amazing resort disorganized office

What can you say about perfect. Beaut, well maintained, huge clubhouse wth regular activities for all ages and an indoor pool.

Then the office. Revolving door of staff. We thought we had a renewable month to month for the winter. They had our credit card, we got a propane tank from Amerigas and winter skirting. We planned to use our MoHo as our go to ski place every few weeks in the winter.

Then the call. Why is your RV still here? And oh we rented the space to someone else starting in 10 days. They suggested we move, but refused to give that one week renter another space. I had a propane hookup that made this a lot more than putting the Class A in gear.

So after they even offered to give us the other space for the same price, I got a flight out there to drive it home. There was a simple solution, admit the error and put the other renter in the space they suggested we move into, but they would not budge. Apparently the one week renter really wanted that space. I was planning to spend four months, but having to come out and move the RV and propane tank was a deal breaker for us because the timing, the week before Christmas really was difficult so if I had to go from Chicago to Breck, I was not going to wait to see what other issues arose mid season we were done.

Cannot say enough about the place and the owners and long term winter residents, but it was not meant to be for us this season.

Great park if viewing caverns

We originally we not planning to stay here as it is a Christian no alcohol park, but it was shaded on a super hot day, so it just called us to plug in and spend the night. Had a great night, lots of friendly people and kids who had the run of the park, less the rides after the park closes. Would stay again if passing through.

Excellent urban RV park

We were in the area to see the caves. Had a riverfront space across from the main park. The Tyson plant trucks went past all night, so try to get a space in the main park as it will be more quite. Still walking distance to restaurants and a convenience store. Would recommend.

Christian park - fabulous sunrise

I completely agree with the other review. The sunrise from the lake view spaces is to die for. Clean and professional.

The park is owned by an organization called Pioneers. They are a missionary group that send followers to primarily Muslim countries to preach the gospel.

When we were there they conducted a mock para military training for prospective missionaries. I agree this is probably a good idea since the locals might not always be friendly to Christians, but this was the last activity I expected at an RV park.
