Tim and I lived in this park for 8 months and they were the best eight months we have ever had up till then! The people that live there are just wonderful people or they were. It's been so long, 16 years and I hope everyone is still OK but time has gone past, a long time. But we sure loved the people AND the desert! Never did see a javelina pig tho. Saw a few scorpions but NO tarantulas. We were excited to see a roadrunner! Anyway it is the best place,the people are friendly and welcome you like good friends which is what they became in those 8 way too short months!
It is on the verge of the desert. Least I hope it still is.
