The sites all have concrete pads and graveled table and fire pit areas. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It is so much nicer than the nearby state Paarl.
We tried to make a reservation for this COE campground on line but it didn't show any availability ever. We called and were told it was closed. We then talked to a ranger who assured us it was open. We went there and found only one site occupied and poor conditions. It was so unkempt that we were worried about damage to the roof from low hanging trees. We didn't stay and went on to a nearby state park.
