Although the park may be nice and the sites decent, the gate keeper is rude and so not helpful. I stopped by after work to reserve a site for my elderly parents and needed to drive through to see which site would be best for my handicapped mother. I arrived at 5:40 and was told by the woman, who lacked any social skills, that reservations would not be taken after 6. I hurried through the park hastily, writing down site numbers, and was back to the front gate by 6 only to find that a nice man from Tennessee, who had been driving all day, needed to check in. So I waited patiently as he completed his paperwork, thinking that surely I could still be helped. But she bluntly told me that the site was still not reserved and to come back tomorrow if I wanted to reserve it. Needless to say, I think we will visiting one of the other, friendlier parks in the area instead. In the meantime, River Forks, I'm sure that there are other friendlier, more helpful people you could present as your face to the public. You may consider relieving this poor woman from duties she most obviously detests. I cannot imagine having to work customer service and interacting with humans when you so blatantly do not believe in helping people.
