Loved This KOA!

Such a nice clean place, from the brand new tiled showers, picnic tables, fire pits, mini golf, etc. Lots of new upgrades. Good-sized roomy pull through site for our 26' rv & toad. Hook ups were conveniently accessible and easily adaptable. We just stayed for one night and didn't want to unhook the toad. Only one complaint- the mini golf cost $5 per person. We came off season so the pool & hot tub were not open yet; therefore, we should have been able to golf without paying the fee. Only four channels on the cable tv, but the list in the KOA brochure was more extensive at 51 channels. Wifi was working better in some areas than others & my husband had to go into the camp store to be closer to the connection. Lots of lush green grass in between the sites that kept our rig extra clean. No mud in this campground! I would definitely recommend this campground.

Tight Quarters

Too close for comfort. The rv sites as well as the cabins are so close together they practically touch. Everything is squished & every square inch of the campground is taken up by rv bumper-to-bumper and slide-out to slide-out. My question is where will they put more? Answer: high rise cabins. City campers might not mind the closeness, but that isn't what camping is all about. We will not return nor will we recommend this park.

Just OK

Accommodating staff for the most part, but not when it came to getting the fmca discount. It was disappointing since the campground was listed in the fmca Road Atlas Travel Guide and that's how I found this campground. It was a full hookup which is what we needed for the night. The coin operated showers without the coins would have been ideal, but at least there were showers. The entrance was difficult to locate as well as navigate in our 26' rv with toad. In fact, we did some major damage to our dolly & car because we couldn't turn around or backup. Most of the campgrounds along the way were full so it served its purpose for the night.

Ah...the Alamo...What Can I Say?

This place is literally a S***hole with a capital S complete with creepy residents and their rundown trailers and cats. We felt the need to get out our weapon from the toad's trunk, load it, and keep it handy in the rv. No lie. We did laundry, however, as well gave our rv & toad a well needed wash. You get what you pay for & that's what we got. The worker was friendly, but it reeked in the office when I checked in. I left the door open when I entered because it stunk so bad. The bathrooms were in major need of repair with a hole in one of the windows, etc. It would be a cold day in hell before I would ever use their shower or toilet, but my curiosity got the best of me & I had to check them out. Ugh! To top it off, a musical ice cream truck came creeping through the place & one resident bought a pop cycle. He split it in half & gave it to a little girl. We felt like we were in a Rob Zombie movie.

Nice Park

We were pleased with this nice clean park. The fmca member discount equaled the cost of the tax, so that was basically a wash, but at least we were able to get a discount. There's a separate entrance for the outlet mall that we didn't use because we just stayed for one night. We needed a full hookup pull through site so we didn't have to unhitch the toad. Many rv "residents " live there, but it was a nice quiet place to sleep & stay. That night there was a dinner meal for the residents or any visitors who wanted to attend. The tables were nicely set, but no more reservations were accepted because it was already full. The staff was friendly & helpful. I would recommend this park.

Slightly Pricey

We stayed here for one night while en route to Yellowstone. The full hook-up pull through site served its purpose of parking our 24' rv & toad because we didn't want to unhook it. The showers & bathrooms were exceptionally clean. No bathroom odor. The showers were roomy & water pressure was great. The only wifi that was available was in the laundry room, because they were doing something with it or fixing it. There was an indoor pool but we didn't swim in it because we only stayed one night. All in all, it was a good place & I would recommend it.

Nice Place

We needed a place to stay for a night while en route to Yellowstone. Full hook-up was fast and easy. The pull through site was just what we needed so that we didn't have to unhook the toad. The site was a level, small pebble surface, with lawn, flowers, shrubs, bushes and landscape bricks dividing each site. It was clean, neat and served its purpose. The wifi connection was great since we've been traveling for many weeks & haven't had wifi in quite a long time. We also watched tv. The workers were friendly, efficient & knowledgeable. It was nice and quiet and we had a good night's sleep. There were showers & laundry facilities open 24/7, but we didn't need them at the time. We stayed in our 24' rv and would highly recommend this place on the outskirts of Boise.
