Love this place

We regularly stay here on our travel across the country. It is a predominantly seasonal campground with concrete visitor pads within the neighborhoods. Lots off grass, well maintained, good quality RV homes. Very friendly people. Golf course is a nice 9 hole course open to the public. No pull through spots. Great value.

Return visitor

We have stayed here at least 4 times on our way across the country - one night stays. One of the nicer KOA?s based on location. We have found it to be quite nice and clean. We have a class A motor home and the pull through spots are gravel covered but level. the spots are a reasonable size - last two times we have had an end site with a nice grassy and shaded area for the dog. We have found it very quiet and peaceful. Easy access from the freeway but no freeway noise. The little lakes are nice to sit and look out at. Prices keep going up so it is on the high end for the Midwest which is the reason for the 3 rating.

Nice place

We stayed here for 3 nights. Very friendly people. Very clean, flat sites that are gravel but well maintained. Fairly large with a small privacy fence and patio area. Most people are longer term campers - several we met waiting for houses to be built in the area. It is a fair ways from town but close to the scenic drive to jermome. We would stay again - need to call in advance for reservations as not many spots are open.

Wonderful campground

I usually only give 5 stars to motorcoach resorts because of the added amenities but this park deserves it. Beautiful wide open spaces, lovely grass lots with flat gravel pads. Open vista views from each spot. Very clean amenities, well cared for park. A bit of a drive to Carlsbad Caverns (50 minutes) but well worth it. Great BBQ dinner offered with delivery in the evenings. Great people - would stay again. By far the best KOA campground we have stayed at.

Lots of space and grass

We had a wonderful lot with a lot of grass and shade trees. Easy back in spot at the back of the camp with full service hook up. Level site with everything easily accessible. Lots of seasonal campers with neat
lots. Staff and guests very friendly. Would stay again.

Very nice spot

Very convenient to lake Merredith for a wedding. Lot was. Lovely pull through right y the gate but was easy to get in and out of and very quiet. Trees kept the air cooler and the dog happy. Lots of well maintained seasonal campers. Very friendly people - would definitely come back.

Nice place

The sites were gravel but spread apart with grassy areas in between. There were a lot of seasonal campers and the park overall was quite and clean.
