Cramped, close to Seattle, the free Internet actually kind of works.
We are going to get better about booking in advance so we do not end up in a place like this every time. The showers are super-gross (and I have a a much higher than average tolerance for germs and mold). If you are a germ-a-phobe I recommend not going anywhere near the restroom/shower area. They offer a weekly rate with metered electric which means I suspect some people have been staying here a while. That said, we are happy to stay in the Seattle area on the cheap!
Spaces are totally crammed together, but it somehow works. Some spaces have green grass.
Suspected longer-term folks means our son had a lot of school-aged kiddos to play with (he's 10). Usually in October school-aged children at an RV park are rare. T-Mobile coverage here is pretty terrible but the Tengo wifi (free) is actually passable (1 mbps up and down).
This is basically a gravel parking lot on the train tracks. What this place lacks in peace and quiet, though, is made up for by a wonderful view of Pend D'Oreille. Also you get full use of the hotel spa, sauna, and heated indoor pool. The proximity to all lovely Sandpoint has to offer is amazing. Shopping, restaurants, everything!
On the train tracks, short drive to shopping and stuff. 30 minutes to downtown Spokane. Showers were meh. I've seen worse but they were not that great.
Prices are high in Santa Cruz, and this is actually in Scotts Valley. There was a nice hot tub and heated pool. Clean large showers. Packed in like sardines but what can you expect from such a populated and popular area? Friendly staff, walking to a restaurant.
