Not open fall 2016

Meier's Lake is at MP 170 of the Richardson Highway.

We were going to stay there while out on a long weekend this fall but they were closed. New owners I think and they are doing some work.

Beautiful place

We were out poking around in a long weekend and stayed here in our cabover. It was late in the season so at first we were the only ones so got our pick of sites. Only one other person showed up during the evening. So beautiful ?

Nice campground

This is a nice campground, at least for tent camping. I think it is a dry campground.
This campground is located at MP 79.5 on the Richardson Highway.

Another gem!

Tent camped here a few Tims and love it. Almost every site is on the creek and pretty private. There is a building with bathrooms, showers and even laundry. This is definitely worth stopping and taking a break.
As with almost any place in summertime Alaska, bring your big dope.

A great find!

We stayed here this summer when we were just out roaming around in our cab over. Very friendly owners. Very well kept property. Sites good sized. There is an enclosed cook shack that is great for visiting in the even if cool or buggy out. Nice walking path around the property. Will definitely return.

Always enjoy this campground - pin is wrong location

Another great campground. Have only tent camped here. Relatively private sites. Nice walking along the river in the gravel bars.

Pin is in wrong location. This is about a bit under north of Palmer - at Chickaloon AK.

A long time favorite - pin in wrong location

This has been a favorite for years. Privacy between spots. Dry camping. On Ptarmigan Creek.

Pin is in wrong location.... campground in about 20 miles or so out of Seward.

Hidden gem

We stayed here this summer - 2016. A hidden gem, shhhhh...
The camper sites are snug, but most folks are there for the fishing charterers.
We stayed down below where there is a huge area with spots for tent camping and trailers.
Lots of room for cookouts and the sunsets over the inlet are spectacular.

One of our favorite campgrounds

One of our favorite escapes.
This is a dry campground.
Plenty of privacy between sites.
Trails and great beach to explore.
Important note!!! Watch the tide!!! It will come in fast and all the way.

Pin is wrong location

This is pinned in the Kenai Peninsula- far far from the Dalton Highway.
