Mature grounds, trees, shade and very close the the highway, lots of road noice and aircraft traffic. Restrooms are very old and in need to serious updating, but this a city owned and operated park. Only 30 amp electric available, no water on sites so at the price it's a bit expansive. Staff is friendly and help and the park is busy.
This place is a gem. Spent two night at this quite and relaxing park. Owners live on site and the camp shows pride of ownership, very impressive, extremely clean restrooms and modern showers. We will return.
As full time RV'ers that is one of the most delightful campgrounds we have enjoyed. The owners are excellent in their helpfulness and willingness to serve their guests. This camp is well maintained, clean and quiet. We inquired at the office about car rental agencies, not only did they gives us a great referral, but also generously offered to drive us to the car rental agency, amazing people, great campground. This place will fill up in the summer, so I would suggest making reservations.
