Over-Niter RV Park - Athens, TN

If you are traveling from Ohio to Florida this campground is perfect!!!
There are about 15-20 pull thru sites.

The restrooms are in excellent condition. The office staff is welcoming as well. The staff is willing to help you with any questions. The owners of the campground actually stopped by to introduce themselves and to thank us for our business.

The campground is pet friendly with a huge field for the dogs to run and play.

There is one fulltime camper, but the rest of the campers are just there for a short time.

We will stay again when we embark for our trip back to Florida.

Silver Springs, FL - Whispering Pines RV Park

This campground is about a mile off the main road so you should have a very quiet stay.

The bathrooms were very well kept and the laundry area was super clean as well. There is no pool. There is a clubhouse with multiple games for you use. The permanent campers are very nice and helpful.

The campground is minutes from Ocala and other activities. There is a walking trail along the back of the campground. I did not take trail while we were there so I cannot voice my opinion.

WiFi is not available at this campground. There is DSL Internet available at the office via a landline.

I do not have any plans to return to the campground.

Old Town, FL Campground

This campground is under new management as of June 2016 and the new owners are making a lot of improvements including, but not limited to FHU with 30 & 50 AMP service. The entire park is so beautiful offering both RV and tent camping.

The grounds are pristine, immaculate, and employ super friendly people whom are willing to help make our stay enjoyable. The clubhouse is very clean and neat with multiple tables. They have a beautiful pool to relax in. Their office is in a 1920 décor building and the staff is very customer service oriented.

There is a fully functional shower house and laundry facility. The shower house and laundry facilities are well kept.

There is a beautiful 1500 foot boardwalk that leads to the Suwannee River where you can fish or just relax. There are trails throughout the campground. There is a pond behind the office with a deck to fish from. There are walking trails throughout. They are pet friendly campground.

We will definitely return.
