I would have rated this campsite higher if it wasn't for the pool. The sites are spacious with lots of trees for shade. There were many families there with children. Combined with the heat, the pool was not chlorinated enough to keep up with crowd. In praise of them they did shut the pool down for one day to try and stabilize it. There were angry campers, but for the sake of health and safety, it was for the best.
First time in a Washington State Park. The Rangers were very helpful in helping us choose the perfect site. The trails and signs about the flora and fauna were very interesting. A must stay in an old growth forest
