Great time in cold weather

We decided to try a new place after coming to South Fort Myers for 20 years. I am so glad we did. The place was very nice and clean. Problem with groups staying together for years didn't give us much of a choice to where we wanted to stay. They worked at finding us a place but when we decided to stay an extra week because weather up North was so bad they put us in a spot that we could get no Internet then we were invaded by black ants. The spot we wanted we were told someone else paid for it but will not be showing for awhile. The spot was empty the whole time we were there. Everyone was very friendly to us and many were from way up North. A resaurant very close to campground was very good but get there early or you will wait. A store a little way had a little of everything, precooked foods, lunch meat and cheeses and meats, vegetable, and fruits. Gas station and car wash right there too. On Tuesday they had a fruit market which was great to get good fruit and vegetables without having to leave campground. Shell Factory not far and enjoyed so spending my money on Christmas decorations. Good restaurant there too. Right off if I 75 so jumping on and getting to many stores and outlet stores and beaches was great. We will definitely be back hopefully for a month in same spot.

Clean and very friendly

Stayed only one night on a very cold night. Not many campers I'm sure they are all headed south. Didn't get to enjoy much of amenities but restroom were greatest. They each had a shower and a bathroom in it's own private room. Very clean and warm considering how cold it was out. I was surprised not many trees so this summer maybe hot without shade around RV. If you love sun this is place for you but for those that cannot be out in sun for hours and can't take heat will be in RV's cooling off. I definitely will try this for a week or two in summer to enjoy their pool with the slide.

Gone. Gone With the Wind

I couldn't believe how beautiful the campground was. We only stayed over night but the scenery reminded me of Gone with the Wind. Very friendly receptionist. I wanted to go back into office and see what souvenirs they had but no time. I did like the purses so I guess we will stop again on our way to Florida or home from Florida. I was surprised how empty the park was,I'm sure it was because by then everyone was in Florida. The only negative would be so many trees not much sun. So if your a sun lover they would have to remove some trees at least by pool. We plan on returning and spending a week so I'll have more info on it but I would say I give it 5*
