Hammond Lake Estate - avoid

Call the estate to make a reservation – was told the rate was $90 per weeks – made a two-week reservation. In order to confirm the reservation, a $100 check was required - – no confirmation was received from by estate. Upon arrival, was informed that the park was under new management the new fee was $150 per week. The new management would not honor the previous quote. He did agree to give us a free week next year if we booked for two weeks before we left the park.

We had a pull thru site that was on an incline requiring blocking the wheels. The sewer cap and six inches of the pipe was broken resulting in the drain hose to be place in the hole.

The condition of power pedestal and circuit breaker questioned the integrity of the service. The circuit breaker was tapped so it could not be tripped to the off position if the occasion arise.

Maybe the owner and manager of the estate should open a Webster dictionary and read the meaning of the word estate. This place is a far cry from being even remotely considered an estate.

The manager failed Customer Service 101.
