Owner was so helpful in getting us checked into the park. I told him that we were coming in late, so he texted us the campground map with wifi code. Tidy campground with large sites. Very convenient off I-40.
Used directions off their website, because this campground is tucked away in the wilderness. Owner very kindly came out at 10:00 pm and got us parked. Gorgeous campground. The rules seemed wordy, but not offensive. We all know we have to pick up after our dogs, etc.
We came in very late and were thrilled that the map was waiting for us as promised. Within minutes we were pulled in, set up, and ready to walk the dogs. Pretty park with a little lake with paddleboats to rent. At the front there are various types of wheeled fun to rent and a pretty pool. The atmosphere is so relaxing.
Lovely little piece of heaven surrounded by the big city. Very friendly staff who offered to wait for us, because we put in E. Broad instead of W. Broad and were 30 minutes in the wrong direction! Pet friendly park. We stop here whenever we're going through Columbus.
