State fair Park-be prepared!

This park has a perfect location, clean and with great staff...….BUT, be prepared for a terrible situation when it comes to hooking up! We have traveled quite a bit in our 38 foot 5th wheel and have NEVER had a problem with a park that doesn't know how to locate the sewer!! The spaces are certainly NOT close to being level and the hook-ups for the sewer connections are not only on the wrong side, they are a foot OFF THE GROUND! and located UP HILL on most spaces???

The hook ups for the sewer also have the WRONG fitting; you have to get another hose and female adapter to insert on the end of your line, so buy another flexible sewer hose and a female adapter & 3 or 4" clamp.

I saw another camper spill sewage all over and just shook my head, that is until I DID THE SAME trying to hook mine up too, ending up using DUCT TAPE! Almost all of the campers had their sewer hoses going UP HILL to the sewer tap!...…………..Can I say WHAT A MESS! Instead of having a single tap for each space where it SHOULD BE, some nitwit decided to put in a 4" double wye fitting, trying to get more than one r/v to hook up at the same place!!!!!...………….Anyway, be prepared to make some altered hook-ups for this park, and when you disconnect, watch out for the extra hose you had to buy, it just might come apart and give you a BLACK WATER BATH!!!

Showers, bathrooms and laundry are nice, except the dryers really need the vents cleaned out, you can see inside where there is a LOT of lint you can't get to. This park would have certainly got 5 stars if it wasn't for the stupid hook-up locations for the sewer!
