Hard pass!

If you have an Rv larger than 20’ just keep driving. If you prefer to stay where you will not hear your neighbors morning farts and constitution just keep driving.
There was literally not figuratively 2” between slide outs of our neighbors.
This park is much more like a trailer park than a travel R.V. park. Yes it is a KOA but there are some really long term residents here. It’s full time RVing on steroids and they have engineered no more then inches of space between pads intentionally to pack as many people as they can into the park. It’s the first time I’ve ever been to a park where some sites have 3-4 additional vehicles some working and some not so much! When we pulled in I had to knock on 3 camper doors to get people to move their additional vehicles out of the road to drive up the road to our spot. It’s the first time in 3 yrs of rving we’ve set up and then decided to to move to the local Lowe’s/Walmart parking lot to boondock for a bit more privacy!!

This site is the perfect reason to not join a KOA! We stayed at the Port Angeles WA KOA Aug 5-7,2019 and it was a journey but frankly it was immaculate, awesome layout, playground, spacious level sites with landscapes/lighting amenities, WiFi everywhere and the service was outstanding one of the nicest parks we’ve ever been to. Soooo we find another journey with the similar price and expectations here in Pasco, WA, and wow!!!! what a dump!!! If there had been an emergency on the end of that park or god forbid a fire, everyone would be killed because they are so packed in it would jump sites and you can’t drive a vehicle through because there are no parking rules let alone an emergency response vehicle! Total fire hazard!

So again you don’t always get what you pay for or expect with KOA! So buyer beware of the bait and switch KOA tactics. The photos on the KOA Pasco site show a very different picture then the reality of trying to drive around the park in a 5th wheel. Some are great (Port Angeles, WA) some not so much (Pasco, WA or The Dalles OR horrible!) yet all have the same “journey” ratings so go figure! Save the $50 and boondock down the road at Lowe’s.

******UPDATE*****
Apparently there is a substantial population of mobile workers in this area due to contracts on the nuclear site and because of all the surrounding vineyards this area doesn’t have a substantial “blue collar” or agri workers so people stay here for a few months and then move on to the next site where work can be found. This from a local law enforcement officer we ran into at the IHOP! So they have a ton of traffic and “issues” in the KOA as well as a lot of the area R.V. campgrounds. Just another FYI in case you’re traveling through looking for safe overnight.
