My wife and I traveled all the way from Southern Oregon towing our brand new Peak Mountain Camps trailer with our Ford F-350. We arrived at Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV Park at 4:30 pm. We had a phone reservation made before we left Oregon. We were attending a weekend event at the fairgrounds as a vendor. The RV park seemed perfect because of proximity. We were greeted at the gate by a very nice man named Tim. After that everything went downhill rapidly. A young lady with no interpersonal skills named Stephanie Nanny demanded to see our RV registration and proof of insurance. We had these documents but the language on the registration was not satisfactory for her ... ours said ?Travel Trailer Registration? where she wanted ?Motor Coach?. Not welcoming and not a pleasant conversation. Bottom line, we ended up going a bit further to Petaluma KOA. We have stayed at much nicer fairground RV parks with no issues. This was basically a large gravel parking lot with tight spaces and no privacy. Be warned!
