We rented a lot at J-Five RV Park last winter while visiting from Kansas, and I would recommend HIGHLY against staying at this facility. The park was filthy, the shuffleboard area was very worn out, and there was a constant police presence due to the high number of vehicle thefts in the park (which I later found were attributed to a heavy gang presence in the area). In addition, the garbage recepticles were at least 200 yards from our trailer, and, with my recent knee surgery, it was more than I could take. The quiet, country-living setting advertised on the website could not be further from the truth, as there was a beligerent, alcoholic man living in the lot next door. Despite numerous complaints, that situation was also never resolved. Additionally, the "scenic" fields located near our living space smelled to high Heaven due to the large number of grazing cattle. We have, however, found a much more serene environment in Donna, TX at a park called "Koenig's Winter Resort."
