Nice Little RV Park

We are 2 months into traveling the US via RV and so far have mostly stayed in state & federal parks but decided to stay at this park due to evacuating Ft. Pickens campground. We were not sure what to expect but have been pleasantly surprised. The camp host met us at the front and patiently helped us back our 5th wheel trailer in (I don't have backing down very well yet) and offered to help us setup the trailer. The lots are nice with a large concrete pad (larger than our 9'x12' outdoor rug) on the side your door opens up to, and has concrete for the trailer tires & jacks. We feel safe here, it is very quiet unlike many of the public campgrounds we have stayed in. This park feels somewhat like "home". If it had a pool I would rate it 5 star. The park is also a great deal considering what the local beach RV parks charge and is very conveniently located close the Walmart halfway between the bridge to Pensacola Beach & Navarre.

Date of Stay:
 June, 2013
Rate Paid:
 $30.00
