This park is being improved by current management. Staff is friendly. Security keeps trouble away and help get your rig parked and set up. Pool is beautiful and clean. The cleaning ladies work extra hard to keep restrooms clean and presentable. Fun activities such as Ice cream socials and potlucks. Karaoke nights are a blast. Air conditioned exercise room is awesome in the Texas heat.
This place is awesome. Great job to Chris the Manager/ Owner! He really made us feel welcome. The pizza delivery to the trailer was such an awesome personal touch. Keep up the good work!
This is not a campground or a resort. It is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The water smells of sulfur. The showers are so filthy, you could possibly catch a disease walking into it. The electric fried our power cord so we had to buy a new one. The campers there are all old permanent and run down. The owners lied to us then would not refund our money when we complained. Not family friendly at all. You need a tetanus shot before even looking at the playground. They don't like short term campers. Don't stay here unless you want to stay forever and don't care if you stink after getting out of the shower.
We always wanted to stay at a Cabela's campground. We were not disappointed. Staff was very friendly, showers were clean, playground fun for the kids. The kids loved chasing bunny rabbits in the tent area. Full service hookup was awesome and despite the campground being full it was very quiet. Best of all was walking over to Cabela's for food and shopping.
We stayed on our way across country. Awesome full service lot. They have a pizza and wing shop and they deliver to your RV. The owner was great to talk to and the staff was friendly. The pool was refreshing and the kids didn't want to get out. Laundry room was nice and affordable. The showers were clean and acceptable by my very high standards. We will defiantly stay there again when we pass by.
First off the sign out front says "resort". Haha, this must be a joke. It's more of a long term, leave you run down trailer for 50 years type of place. The owners lied to us and then told us we were not welcome there. The water smells of sulfur and the showers are down right gross. I wouldn't bathe my dog in those showers.
We stayed here since there wasn't a lot of choices near Kokomo. It's pretty run down. The owners seem to be trying to fix it up, but it still needs lots of work.the showers are pretty bad. The owners are nice and really try to run a nice place. Better for fishing than camping.
