Stunning Views Great Place to stay? Maybe?

The rate is based on water/electric site for a month. The CG will come and pump out for a $15 fee. I have huge tanks so I got it done weekly. A dump station is available for free if you want to unhook and drive over. The views and surrounding countryside are stunning. The staff is very friendly and accommodating too. The restaurant was good and the bar too. The pool and hot tub and shower houses are very clean and so is the campground. Why a lower rating? This sounds like a 9 or 10! But the owner burns trash in large 55 gallon drums. The smell is noxious and he burns plastics. Plastic burning can spread toxic chemicals, but the smell can overwhelm you. How can someone who offers this stunning view close to Yellowstone openly burn trash and plastics? And, why? If you go, make sure the burn drums are not close by. The campground is for sale, maybe the new owner will be respectful go the environment.

What a great place to stay near Asheville

We stayed here for two weeks in August. It is like camping used to be. A very small park with just 6 sites but all with full hookups. Our holiday rambler navigator at 43 feet requires a lot of space. The spaces were level graveled sites that were back in spaces with plenty of room on the sides for our four slideouts. At night, we had a bubbling creek that ran just in back of the RV. Quiet solitude but very convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the road to the campground takes you right to the entrance near Mt Pisgah. We highly recommend Dan O'kelley the campground owner. He lives across the street and really makes you feel at home with his nice demeanor and welcoming smile. The campground is fairly new but with full hookups and the Mt. Pisgah national forest at your back door, what more could you ask. The only drawback was limited phone service, verizon worked but att was limited. WE will stay there every time we go to Asheville. We stayed here using passport america. The rate was $16 per night, a great deal.
