All sites are paved with a separate parking space for your car. To our surprise the picnic table was great. This park is FHU and gives you use of the pool, weight room and laundry facilities at the Casino. The restaurants in the casino have great food and there are specials if you use your players card which you get when you register. We drove in to the campground and were greeted by friendly camp hosts who took us up to the front desk to register, in their golf cart, once we were parked.We were able to use Passport America for 14 days. There are 24 sites. If the campground is full you can park for free in the casino parking lot (no hook ups). About 20 minutes out of Durango so we went into Durango to the welcome center and found great information on the surrounding area and found plenty of beautiful drives and jeep roads. We will definitely stay here again.
Big paved sites with FHU 30/50. Takes Good Sam and Passport America. Includes full use of the casino amenities including the pool, workout room, Laundry facilities and of course the casino and its restaurants. Campground hosts are awesome and after you get set up they take you by golf cart to the registration office and give you a short tour of everything the casino has to offer. GREAT PLACE with GREAT Hospitality!
This park is fabulous! It has electric (30/50/110) and water at your site. Large pull thrus accommodated our big rig towing a car. Beautiful lake side site with mountainous views of Nickajack lake. Real close to the dam so you can sit in your chair by the water or in the gazebo at a bench and watch the big barges go towards the locks. We have driven by this area many times and made it a point to stop this time. So happy we did. The park is well maintained and has a new bath house, launch area for your boat or kayak and very friendly managers. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Prices vary depending on the services you want.
