Off the Beaten Path

A small quiet park with a pond with coy fish, turtles, ducks and canoes/kayaks available for free to take a relaxing cruise. Owner provides excellent service to ensure each camper is comfortable with their spot. Tenters are also welcome and firewood is available for a reasonable fee. Bathrooms with newly renovated showers are located near the office as well as bathroom facilities across from the pavilion/recreation hall that holds a pool table, Wii game and large screen tv. Most camping spots for trailers and motor homes have a nice stone patio, but are a little close to others IF you have a large rig. Smaller campers fit with no problem. A small basketball court/hoop is also available by the outdoor laundry facility which has a great view of the pond. A great place to get out in nature, yet within 5 miles of stores and local attractions like the Weeki Wachee mermaids, swimming with manatees, and a Wildlife Refuge. We camped in a motor home down by the pond. Great, friendly people.

Good location ok park.

Transient spots are level and reasonably sized. Bathouses clean and new but small. Seem like a lot of sites full time weekend rentals. Very convinient to visit Weeke Watchee

Great Get Away

We held our son's birthday party at Cody's Camping was very nice, we had a fire, made supper on an open flame, my son had the best time of his life! The park is really quite and well kept up. the bathroom are really super clean which in my book is a plus. Jeff & Wesley really went out of their way to insure my son's birthday was the best. These guys work all hours of the day and night, I really can't see when they get any sleep as we had seen both of them working into the wee hours of the night helping campers. I would recommend this campsite to anyone, rustic back to nature style campground and very quite! Thank you both Jeff and Wesley for making our stay very pleasant!
