Ranger lakes campground at State Forest State Park.
What a beautiful place. Moose feeding just down the hill in the willows. Campground has good hiking, fishing (short walk) wildlife viewing and spectacular mountain views. 15,30,50 amp service. 3.5 hours from Denver.
This has become one of our favorite places to go that is close to Denver. Great level sites. Good hiking and other amenities. This is the nicest of all the Colorado state parks we have visited.
