Best Park in Socorro

Stayed here to meet friends. Wifi & Cable (with a movie channel) included. Bathhouse was closed indefinately. While it is on the Interstate, you don't get much road noise from it. I got more road noise from the road that ran behind the back wall. I stayed in the row against the back wall with the long termers.
It was a back-in site. Very quiet Rver's as most of them work or go to the local Tech college (New Mexico Tech... beloved by the folks at Mythbusters... so you may see them in town at times like I did).

Nice Park

Stayed here for a month in a schoolbus conversion. 30 amp site ($375/mo) near the entrance of the campground. Nice park. Good wi-fi. I could have washed my car down the road at the car wash I passed every day, but I didn't. Ate at Cattleman's Restaurant a couple blocks away. Highly rated. Very good food. Convenience store across the street was handy. Clean bathhouse. Several fast food chains a few blocks north on S Main Street. All in all, a good spot to stay. Brasher Rd connects with HWY 285 to the East & the Truck Relief Route to the West. Meant in my travels (Carlsbad to I-25) I did not have to drive thru town.
