Alternative to staying in Austin

We could not get into any RV parks in Austin so moved a bit east and stayed here. It's about 15 minutes drive into the city if the traffic cooperates. Mostly permanent residents but still fairly quiet especially at night. Wifi system worked fine, over-the-air channels are numerous and all from the Austin area. There are some trees in the park but our site allowed for satellite reception just fine.

There isn't anything special about this park and it's a little expensive for the amenities and setting, but it's fine for a few nights and provides convenient access to the entire area. There are several other parks nearby including several in the Bastrop about another 8 miles further east.

We stayed here in a travel trailer and would stay again.
