Wanted to see Knoxville and surrounding countryside but didn't want to stay in tourist haven of Pidgeon Forge. We have 38 and had problems with getting level. Wooden porches falling apart and permanents not neat.
Stayed one night but we needed sewer hook up. They have those at the top of a twisty road that was gravel and potholes. One section was 2 ways but only wide enough for one.
The spots at the top with full hookups are tandem so if you are the back one you are on the bumper of the first one.
If only staying a night I would not get the sewer than you have a true pull thru at the entrance area.
Nice clean campground. We have stayed there many times. Although it has no pool the surrounding area is very tranquil (even though you are overlooking I 78). You get wifi and cable what more can you ask for.
If you are looking for a no frills park with a relaxing tranquil atmosphere this is the place. You can sit outside and watch and listen to the clopping of the Amish buggies as they pass by. We have been there about 5 times.
This place is fantastic. Large spots, some with concrete sid porch areas. Gazebos are scattered throughout this clean facility. The front half of the area has paved roads and the back half is well maintained gravel. No pool yet but we look for quiet parks anyway.
