Although KOA isn't always our first choice, we were glad we chose Beaver KOA.
The owners/staff went out of their way to accommodate us and to be sure all of our wants and needs were met.
The sites were very large and the park was easy to negotiate. Location is good, being very close to I 15. The town of Beaver leaves lots to be desired but there are larger towns nearby with full services.
We camped in a 5th wheel and would stay here again.
We have stayed here at Horseshoe Cove for two winters; Jan 1-Apr 1.
It is a delightful park with ample activities, beautiful club house, pool, spa, pool, card and activities rooms. Almost constant daily activities throughout the winter.
Extremely helpful, friendly office staff. The people are as friendly and enthusiastic as you are. Absolutely no reason to be bored at Horseshoe Cove.
There is a second activity building on the Island with patio, grill, fishing docks and pathways for strolling.
One end of the Resort consists of pull through full hookup RV sites.
There is a very large, well equipped Wood Shop and Stained Glass Shop.
Three well maintained, clean restroom/shower/laundry buildings.
We scouted around southern Florida looking for a RV resort in a little warmer area but were unable to find anything even close to being as nice as Horseshoe Cove.
So, we have already made our deposit and secured our site here for 2015.
The location is second to none; close to restaurants, I 75, beaches, all types/classes shopping, The Arts, medical, (only 1 mile from VA Clinic,) Tampa/St. Petersburg.

No heat in rest room and had to pat $.25 per minute for shower.
Additional $6. Per day park fee brings daily rate to $31. Great location.
Wonderful park. Mostly park models and permanent RV's but there is 4-5 rows of pull-thru rv sites.
Many scheduled activities. Very friendly park. Very close to many FL attractions.
Modern clubhouse, wonderful pool and spa.
We enjoyed our three week stay so much in Feb that we elected to reserve for 3mos in 2013.
Highly recommended.
Try to back a 36ft 5th wheel between 2 Palm trees 25ft apart with a16ft street to work with and cars/trucks parked both sides. That's Sarasota bay RV Resort. terrible!!!
I have had much nicer sites for less than $30. Night.
Very un-friendly staff.
Never again and no referrals from me.
