Typical koa

Like most koa overpriced. Nice pool but roads and sites just dirt and gravel. No grass. No shade. Sites terribly unlevel. Had to drive my coach up on 2 boards and use a small step ladder to get in.

Beautiful, but ....

This KOA is clean and beautiful, but it?s not the best for big rigs towing. As you come in the driveway, it has planters in the middle of the driveway, which you will have to thread the needle thru, Then, there?s big boulders at every turn including coming out of your site, making it difficult to get your tow vehicle/trailer out. We did it, but had to get help from a good neighbor. If you?re not towing it?s fine. Sadly, we won?t be back.

Beautiful views

This park is not as close to the Arches Park, but it makes up for it with pretty views. The sites are gravel and leveling can be an issue, but it's a clean, well maintained park. And, most important: it has a fenced dog park - small, but good enough. Even though it's expensive, we would stay here again.

Busy during weekend with outdoor cross cars

We camped here during a weekend (no reservation made, but a last spot was available). Very busy with families that had brought either there cross motor or off road car. It seems to be very easy to go off road here. Moab is growing (we stayed at another campground two years ago) and noticed that there are more campgrounds. Desk personell was very friendly and helpfull. A lot of the facilities looked new. After about 9pm the camp grew quiet only cars on the closeby highway could be heard.
Have not checked the restrooms (hence less stars). Eating is in town which is approx 10 minutes drive.
Nice place to stay after a visit to Arches national park.
We did receive 10% discount as we rent from Road Bear.

Great stop

We did not have reservations in Moab and took a chance. Its a great quiet clean park. Close to everything. Great rim view. Felt safe too. Wifi a bit slow.

Horrible experience

We have camped many years, and this is the first time that we have felt unsafe. There is no security, and there is no one on duty or available after 9 pm. The unit next to us had 4 adults and 2 children. They held a drinking party with people in another unit, outdoors next to our "bedroom" until 10:30 PM. They parked in our space, crammed up next to our unit! Then they all drove somewhere, leaving their children alone, & returned at 1:45 AM, honking horns and blinking headlights until 2:15. They were speaking Spanish which is not one of the 3 languages in the park brochure. The unisex restrooms/showers were unmarked and confusing and very creepy with drunks running around. No one responded to our complaints the next morning. They said the owners were not around that day. No one responded to the frantic message we left on their answering machine in the night.

Moab koa

Totally confusing park layout, narrow roads, small spaces, and Internet that will not let you connect. Anywhere else would be better than this. Very frustrated.
