Very good stop over
KOA standards are shown in full at this site, great welcome and all staff were very helpful, picked our own site all sites full hook up, pool & hot tub very good, plenty of restrooms and washing/dryers.
Very good shop on site. $53 per night for the location very cheap.
Love it
This park is great. Lots of grass, lots of trees and clean. The trees are trimmed high, so no worries about roof scrapes. The dogs love it! Has a great off leash park and a dog walk along the river.
Your GPS may tell you to make a U-Turn to get to the entrance, but keep on eye on your left and you will see an entrance sign on a corner just before the park. Easy.
Nice Park
Stayed here all Summer, clean, staff was helpful. This park has a short term and long term areas, we stayed 5 nights in the short term area before a space in long term opened up. The short term is expensive, long term is reasonable, we didn?t use the laundry or showers.
Pleasant Surprise
These folks work hard, and have invested upgrades to this campground that has a great location to sightseeing in Salt Lake City. Clean restrooms, a fenced dog play area with faux grass (never muddy or destroyed) paved roads and pads, nicer picnic table and real grass at our area. They led us in and were helpful during our stay with our questions and a problem we had with our coach. We will stay here again the next time through.
Good place
Nice and clean and close to the city
This is a large rv park
Not only for those passing thru but it is a vip community rv park. So there are lots of people in and out. Trains were not a problem. When we were told to LOCK up our bikes I was concerned but no issues. Nice shade tress. Nice clean laundry room. Close to temple square. Nicos mexican restaurant a stones throw you can walk there is very good. They seem attentive. I just didn't like it that big and lots of homeless nearby.
A favorite while visiting FHL downtown.
This campground is on Temple Ave a short distance from downtown. Sites are about 15 feet apart. Plenty of room for awnings to be used - not that it was needed - there are plenty of shade trees. Restrooms were clean as was the dog park. Others have complained about the train noise. It is a little louder than we are used to living a few miles from a train but did not keep us up or wake us in the morning. No noise from the International Airport a few miles away - planes must take off away from the city. It was nice to have a motorhome self-washing station on the premises after a long drive. We have stayed here many times and never had a problem. Wifi is spotty.
What a wonderful place!
Stopped here instead of a Rest Stop on our trip to Texas. The registration staff was extremely nice and welcoming. We have four dogs and they all got little pet packages when we arrived. The facility is beautiful and clean and at night it was so quiet and peaceful! We will definitely be back!
Close to the City
Good place to be for city visit, you can take the local train and at the temple square in 10 min. Friendly staff and helpful.
Close to main part of city.
This is our second stay at this KOA. This time we are driving through. Check in was fast and we are in the same area as last year. Have had no problems during our stays here. Discount with AAA card.
Salt Lake City KOA has two playgrounds, basketball, hop-scotch and four-square courts as well as a grass area at the group site that can be used for playing volleyball.
