Nice but a Bit like sardines
We stayed 1 night. NP was full, so this was the nearest.

Nice view on the mountains
Near to Zion
Clean and new
- feel a bit like Sardines
Sardines in a beautiful can
The setting of this campground is amazing...located at the entrance to Zion NP with a river running alongside.
But, it's very expensive and charges extra for more than 2 people at each site.
Worse than that, they've taken this great site and packed way too many spaces into it. Our site was supposed to be a pull through for a 27'. Not only were we unable to pull through, but the nose of the rv stuck out in the road.
Our neighbors included a tour bus filled with at least 40 very loud Europeans. The bus itself was a sight to see- seats in the front and bunk beds in the rear!
Staff at the site was fairly rude. This is a Comfort inn as well as campground and the staff clearly prefer hotel guests to campers.
I would not recommend this site to anyone.
Good & bad
We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring beautiful Zion Natl Park !! The good part of this campground is the convenience to to the entrance to the park!! The sites are pretty normal. It was busy, but the trash was piled up so full you could barely dispose of it. Not enough thought considering you might expect to be really busy!!!! We paid for full hookups. We could not get internet. We could not get cable. Though we have used our tv for many other trips, we were told cable could only be accessed if our TV was 4 years or newer!! Something about it being digital cable?? We are now in another park & watching very clear TV front desk was ok. Not super friendly or helpful. Guess service isn't high when you have a great location!! Just don't expect too much, pay premium price & enjoy Zion!!!
Great spot next to Zion entrance
The location is absolute a great plus for this campground. One walks to the shuttle bus and within a stop one is at the entrance of Zion National Park. Really very good. The shuttle bus is by the way also handy to go to where more restaurants are (two stops down into Springdale).
Sites are a bit small, but there is shadow which is made by mountains in the morning/evening and a number of trees during the day.
Showers and restrooms are not kept tidy during the day (or I mist something). They are in need of redecorating.
In comparison with other places we stayed (Page, Buffalo) the prices in shops are on high side.
Fastest wifi ever
We had a full hookup site. The washrooms are ok. There is a pool at the entrance of the park which was pretty crowded like the campground in general. There is access to the river. The embankment is steep without a staircase but we managed to get all tree kids and our stroller down to the river.
The wifi is outstanding fast, no matter what time we used it.
The pool is warm to hot. You don't want to leave the pool...
Beautiful
They are friendly, it's very near to Zion Park and the place is amazing. We loved the place.
Gorgeous Views All Around
The Zion RV Park is located directly behind the Quality Inn and right outside the main entrance to Zion National Park. There is a convenient bus stop, which is free, to the visitor center in front of the RV park. There are two bathroom/shower facilities, a children's playground, covered pavilion, a swimming pool, free wifi and direct access to the river for water tubing. The grounds are well manicured and the facilities were clean and maintained. There are full hookups with 50 & 30 amp plugins. C Class motorhomes fit in the spaces well, but the bigger rigs looked a bit cramped. The views though, are simply breathtaking! We'll stay again.
Pretty Scenery close to the park
The RV park is combined with a motel, the sites are small and cramped, but the location is great. The campground is located in a deep valley along side the virgin river with spectacular views on all sided. The hotel staff also handles the RV park and could have used a little more knowledge about it. Our site was a little short, but there were longer sites that stayed empty.
