First Class
All pitch?s are flat and with full hook ups, no cable TV as the reception is great for all channels, small pool and dip tub, washrooms and laundry rooms immaculate, small shop for last minuet items, staff all carry friendly and helpful.
Great Location
This park has paved roads, concrete pads and good water pressure. Dog run is very small but they do have good grassy dog walks with pages for one to use to pick it up. This park is right off I-15 and there is a Flying J right across. Will stay here again next time we come up this way. Easy in and out for big rigs
Camp Review
I have stayed her at this park in April for the past 8 years. Very acomodating and friendly. Very clean and a nice club house that they let us use as a good sams Chapter. The only problem we have is with the WYFi not working.
close to shopping and Dinning places.
Narrow sites, overpriced
After a LONG, mechanical issues day on the road, we had to make an "emergency" stay at this location. We arrived after hours and had a very difficult time finding the office location to do night registration. We did not use any of the facilities. That said, the sites were very narrow. If we had wanted to put out an awning, we really don't think it would have fit.
Site was level and hookups in the appropriate location for a pull-thru site. Insulation around the water pipe was too close to the threads making attachment of the hose difficult.
We feel this location was overpriced for what we saw.
Did I mention CLEAN restrooms?
This is one of the best koa camps I have encountered on a 12 state trip. The girls at the office were great to work with, very sweet and hospitable. All the sites were full hookups, the park was easy to maneuver through with my 35 ft fifth wheel. The only concern I had was that the wifi was out for the duration of my 2 night stay, after asking about it the office explained that it was down for improvements to better the system. Did I mention clean restrooms? I'll definitely be back on my next stop through.
It will do for a night
Very tight spaces...very close together
Too costly for what you get
The park is bordered by a busy highway and train tracks. The dog park was FULL of dog poop. The spaces are extremely close together, our utility connections, including sewer were in our neighbor's "yard". There wasn't enough room to extend our awning. The grass was less than 5 feet wide and flooded, increasing the bug population. Our space has a 2 lamp street light less than a foot from the entrance.AND THE PRICE WAS $50.00 PER NIGHT!!!!!
Hit & Miss
The good:
Fabulous private shower bathroom combo's that are clean.
Paved level spots surrounded by beautiful grass.
A swimming pool.
Very nice people.
Went KOA Sept 2013.
The bad:
Train tracks on the east that literally shook our camper.
It was 87 degrees in mid-September, but the pool was closed.
Sites so close together that our slide out and awning touched either edge.
Strong WiFi signal but none of our computers could connect.
We had a wind from the south that brought in a smell like that of a foundry.
Great Place to stay
This park was GREAT! Quiet, clean and priced right. I was here for 3 weeks and everyone was great, the upkeep of the park was very well maintained. Everyone I dealt with had great customer services skills and I recommend this park to anyone who wants to stay in the area. I stayed here in my Class A.
