Quiet but close to lots of fun!

Very simple! Easy parking for all rigs! Tons of parkland! Huge water park! Twenty minutes from DC Metro! Lots of history in the area! Easy access to shopping!

Beautiful Park Convenient to Washington

We stayed here in our motorhome for 4 nights. We did not spend a lot of time in the park as we were here to visit Washington, D.C. and our oldest grandson who is station nearby.
This is a very large, beautiful park just off IH66. The traffic on the Interstate did not bother us but you could hear it.
They have large pull through and back in sites with full hookups. a few sites we saw could prove challenging to get a rig level.
Cell service was good. WiFi is not available.
At the time we were there, they were decorating for Christmas with lighted displays over the roads and along side the roads coming into the campground. Would loved to have been there when they turn them on November 1st.
Going in to the park, as you cross IH66 on the overpass, your GPS may direct you to turn left but this will lead you to the Special Events area and shooting center. The campground is on the road straight ahead a little over a mile.

Nice With Limitations

Good location near DC metro area if you have a Big Rig--there aren't many choices a available. Gravel pads, not all are very level, heavily wooded and lots of seasonal activity. Downside: pricey, next to the noisy skeet range, can hear I-66 traffic, no satellite TV and if you use the fire ring you can only have two vehicles parked on your site--fire department rules. Very busy park so reserve early.

One of the best RV parks I've been to

I stayed at this park for many, many weeks while looking for a house and waiting for the deal to close. This is a huge park with lots of trees to separate you from other campers. Lots of trails, play areas for kids, and a water park. Excellent paved road throughout. 24 hr security.
