Beautiful park
A very nice park with loads of shaded spaces. It?s a busy park but was pretty quiet.
There?s access to many hiking trails. One takes you through a herd of wild ponies. Big Pinnacle Trail was a bit strenuous because it was mostly straight up with rocks on the trail. Part of some of the trails are part of the AT.
Beware that the road to the Park is very twisty with 15-25 mph quite a bit and can be narrow in places.
The CG has a dump station, showers, a cute little store with lots of unusual stuff. The spaces are small for the most part.
There is tent camping, RV and a few rental yurts.
