Think twice!
We planned on staying here for approx. 3 months when we arrived on 5/8/16. Got there with our 40' RV and the 1st spot w/50AMP was so un-level and there was NO where to put our grey water, and were told to dump it on the ground. That went against our grain, so opted for a 30AMP spot in the middle of a field. It meant turning off one compressor on the A/C and of course our satellite dish wouldn't work there either. No laundry facilities except about 15 miles away, and it too was a dump. The place is overrun with cats and roosters!
I must admit that there are spots near the water (Lake Anna) which seemed more pleasant but those are obviously for short term use. The owner and staff on the other hand were awesome and they tried so hard to be accommodating. After 3 weeks we were able to move to another Campground and even though we paid for a month ($700.00) there was no refund. Please see some pics below, as this is what our view was every day. Sorry folks, think twice before going there!!!
Rocky Branch Campground on Lake Anna is a family oriented campground with close access to the lake for all water sports, fishing or just sightseeing. Fun for the whole family! Located approximately two miles east of Lake Anna Bridge on Route 208.
