This is a military campground and recreation area for all active and retired military and Department of Defense civilians. Located on an active radio transmitter site, it has diligent military security. Very nice facilities, clean and well-maintained. Situated at the base of the Cascade foothills, the scenery is stunning. All RV sites except the 4 designated for camp hosts are concrete back-in sites, level and angled for easy backing in. 25 sleeping cabins are available, as well as 20 tent sites. Large lodge is available for large functions or individual rooms. Two full furnished apartments are also available. Jim Creek runs through the rec area. No fishing in the creek, but good trout fishing in Twin Lakes, 5 miles from the campground, accessible on a winding mountain road. Nice camp store and game room. Disc golf, ball fields, horseshoes. We would definitely stay here again.
