Need reservations
No generators after 7:00. I'm on oxygen and need the generator to run my concentrator. This is a dry camp campground.
Best of both worlds...
Pros: great location to explore both the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone; 2 miles from South entrance to Yellowstone; nice camp store, fuel station, gift shop, restaurant, and visitor's center; hook-ups include water, electric, and sewer; quiet; modern conveniences while being remote; one of only campgrounds we found with hook-ups
Cons: muddy when it rains with potholes; confusing lay-out; expensive; no wifi, cable, or cell service; tight turns for big rigs; sewer connections are a bit odd but useable
Overall, we felt this was in a great location for what we wanted to do. We love to be remote, but we also like the conveniences of water, electric, and sewage. The other things were not a big deal to us. After all, we came here expecting to be off the grid, so to speak. We stayed in a 40' 5th wheel and would stay again. From what we saw, it really is the best campground in the area if you want hook-ups.
