Great Place to Stop Overnight
Excellent place to stay! Right off the I65!! Very Clean and very well maintained!! Nice people in the office!!
We will definitely stay there again!!
Stop over
Staff is friendly. The bathrooms and laundry were clean. Good cable and wifi. Safety concerns were an issue. No gate from major highway. Several abandoned units. No trees or privacy. Sites were bare and not well maintained. Would not stay here again.
Good Overnighter
We found this park to be easy to access off of I-65. Rates are reasonable, especially with a Good Sam discount and the staff is courteous. They give you a key for the rest room for security and each site is a level pull through.
AT&T has full bars and The Woods WiFi is strong and free.
We travel between Tennessee and Florida quite a bit and this is one handy campground!
I nicked one star off my rating because it is not a very secure park so treat it like you would boondocking at a walmart.
This was a perfect ending to a perfect day
The directions are precise, they lead you directly to the campground, and when you arrive, they charge you the price that was stated in the books. We had been noticing a trend for many of the campgrounds, the rate advertised in the many different current books that we use to guide us to campgrounds was always much lower than the actual charges were when we arrived.
The clerk was exceptionally friendly and helpful even though several guests were checking in at the same time we arrived.
The restrooms and laundry facilities were well-kept and very large areas for all of your needs. They have a playground area and even though trees surround the entire park, the sites are bare and are all pull throughs so that you can easily maneuver any size rig.
There are so many restaurants within a very short walking distance of the park. This campground is located right between an Arby’s and a BP gas station but when you get into the park you see trees and cows, and you feel as if you are in the woods.
We would recommend this park to everyone and would definitely return if ever in that area again.
Camping while still near the local eateries, plus they accept some of the discount camping cards, even a 50% off rates.
