Decent but Remote
Stayed there 3 nights. Nice (premium) space across from the indoor pool. We don't tow a vehicle and this park is way off the main commercial district of 29 Palms. Luckily we had a friend with a vehicle staying in one of the cabins here.
Marginal site
Good Sam listed this as. 9. Haha. Lots of permanent guests (moms and kids without a man) in park models. Skinny gravel sites. No cable and iffy wifi. Overnight with the doors locked is all I'll give this place.
Great Snowbird Location
I have been searching for a winter location and lucked out and stumbled onto this place and what a great park. The park itself has all the amenities including a huge clubhouse, heated indoor pool and indoor hot tub and sauna as well as spotlessly clean restrooms and showers. There is also a fitness room and a huge outdoor BBQ which is used for group gatherings.
All the hookups were great, no cable TV but good over the air service. Sites vary with location but all are nice and well kept. The park has WiFi throughout which works pretty good, my Verizon Hot Spot worked great!
The staff is very attentive and friendly. But the snowbird residents are the best!! There are so many activities it is hard to keep up and the residents are all very helpful and friendly, by far the friendliest park I have ever been to and you can be assured I will be back next winter, God willing!
I had a great winter there 2013-2014!!

While visiting Joshua Tree
National Park, we stayed at Twentynine Palms Resort.
The North entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is within 2 miles, making for very easy access. The RV park is set off to itself, making for a good quiet spot just outside of the main part of town.
The office and grounds are nice, however the facilities show wear and age. The one bathroom/shower house is next to the office, so if you need to be close, make sure and look at your spot beforehand, as it would be easy to be way on the other end.
The womens bathroom was decent, no issues (worn but fine) but the report on the mens room from Sean… a big thumbs down.
Part of the issue is that a lot of workers live on site and this seemed to be their only bathroom source. So very high traffic… with very little cleaning (or so it seemed to the hubby).
It is very convenient, which is why we stayed there. If you plan to be in the park mostly, it gets the job done.
However our top recommendation would be to stay in JTNP if you have the capabilities for more primitive camping.. (which we did not)
