County Fair Stay Only
This is just for the annual fair. All gravel parking lot. Nothing more. Recommend One night stay only. If you can park Rv elsewhere do that. Too much traffic and pricey.
Parking lot
Typical fairgrounds RV parking lot...bright lights (bring an eye mask!) made it difficult to sleep. The train blows it's horn repeatedly, which gets extremely annoying. There isn't any staff on site, but rather a self service check-in. This park is good for an overnight rest, but I would never make it a destination. (Except to get papusas at Papusas La Chicana!!!)
Basic Fairground Parking
There were few amenities, but what they had worked. We arrived on one of the hottest days so far and had no problems with the electric hookup. The sites and roads were one sheet of gravel and the port a potty which served as a restroom disappeared the first night. The entrance was difficult to find, being on Gum street instead of East. We called the office first to find the entrance and again to find out how to register, it was self-service. The location was great for us and the price was good.
