Stunning geology
As a campground, not so great. As a place to be, fabulous. The canyon is stunning and the rangers' programs outstanding. Lots of trails and overlooks. Went on the river tour and that was wonderful, too.
There are 3 loops in the park but only loop B has electrical hookups. Some of the sites are odd-shaped and snug, others are broad and open. The max RV length is 37' 'due to restricted clearance and parking space'.
Reservable season 5/16 thru 9/6. Sites in loop B available May thru October.
Only drinking water in the park so fill up before you get there. No dump station in the park so plan to dump after you leave. Vault toilets and no showers.
