Forget that it?s the only RV Park on Sanibel. They don?t act like it. Many full time occupied sites so book early. Fair price given the location. No dogs allowed.
Great Location
This is a combo RV park and Trailer Park right on Sanibel. Travelling and permanent residents seem to be well seperated. Bathouses are small and dated but clean. Resturants and beach are within walking distance and everything on the island is bikable
Close to beaches
This is a great park. I believe is also the only RV Park on the island.
Loved staying here as we could ride our bikes to everything including the beaches.
The aviary has many beautiful and rare birds. No dogs are allowed to stay in the park.
Periwinkle campground best on the island
We have stayed in this campground more times than can be counted. 1st in our Coleman pop-up over 6 years now in our RV.
Riding your bikes to the beach or to breakfast @ the Sanibel Cafe, this camp ground is in the center of everything on the island. The bird farm is so fun, the camping spots are excellent and the price beats the very expensive hotels all around.
Tent camping can be very warm in the summer months but no problem in an RV or trailer.
The 4th of July parade is so much fun and very small town. Campground does not take credit cards so bring cash or check and enjoy. Off season rates start on June 1
