Great campground!
Price was great, $40.50 with full hookups. Large, clean dog park, super clean set up, nice playground, pool area was nice but of course closed this time of year
Top notch RV Park
Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
25' Motorhome with toad (42' overall) - didn't unhook
We stayed here 1 night Labor Day weekend 2016. Called the day before and got a spot and paid just under $40 with our Good Sam discount. The guy who answered was very friendly. We arrived and were amazed at how clean and organized this park was. Our site had FHU, concrete pad and very level. Interior streets very easy to navigate and big rig friendly. No trees on the interior though, but satellite friendly! The host came by to check to see if everything was okay. He lives in his camper on-site. He said about 2/3 of the residents are full-timers or construction folks who work in the area for a few months at a time. All the rigs were nice and well taken care of. Everyone was quiet and had their spots very organized. We are two women and felt super safe. The only glitch was our electrical didn't come on right away and went off once while we were getting ready for bed. I am thinking it may have something to do with our surge protector though (the slow to start issue for sure). There is a storm shelter, which we thankfully didn't need to use! The bathrooms were clean. The only "ding" might be it is a bit "sterile", but for our needs...a safe, clean, level, nice place to spend the night while passing through, it was among the best we've stayed at. If you are wanting atmosphere and scenery...this may not be your place, but for our needs, it was superb. We would recommend Deer Creek Valley and would stay here again if in the area.
6 Star!
Won't repeat what others have said, park is excellent! Pet park is huge, clean, with great elevation, and double gated. Easy to find. We stayed an extra day to enjoy.
Be sure to check it out whether traveling or just want a vacation site. Sta
Another Fabulous Stay
We discovered this RV Park on our way out West about a month ago. We stayed again on our way back East. It's just as fabulous the second time as it was the first time! I love it when you find a place you can count on!!!
Very nice
Clean, concrete pads grass. Would come back
Deer Creek is Great!
This is what an RV park should be; clean, organized, wide, all concrete pads and driving lanes. It is a very well planned and enjoyable park that shouldn't be missed when parking in Topeka. Well done Deer Creek management!
RV Haven
This was a very nice RV Park. The park was nicely laid out. The sites were all paved, spacious and great pull-thru length. The utility boxes were very efficient and lit up at night. The property was fenced with a security gate. The staff were very friendly and polite. Although we didn't have an opportunity to check it out, there was a nice pool and next door was a BBQ place. We can't say enough good things about this RV Park.
Wow!!
After traveling 4000 miles to the Pacific Coast and back to Missouri, this park was the perfect way to end our vacation. Even our two furry friends were taken into consideration with the huge fenced yard. Thank You Deer Creek, we will always make this our stop!
6 stars
Beautiful gated park, large concrete slab sites, spacious sites, beautiful pool, large enclosed dog park.
