Deep in the trees
We camped in Cedar campground, the only one that has electricity. The campground is hilly, but the campsites are all level. That means that you aren't looking directly into someone else's campsite. Great. Sites are ample and are paved with flaked pea gravel, a very nice surface for parking, but you have to be sure to clean off your shoes before getting into the camper.
Each site has a table, fire ring, and a place to store wood off the ground. Bathrooms are nice.
It is near Antietam and other Civil War sites. This is a very interesting part of Maryland, with LOTS of state parks to go to.
