Not a bad park for the price
Great discounts for veterans. Some of the staff is extremely friendly, others are less than friendly. Lots of horse flies and ticks in the summer.
Very friendly people, but old restrooms
A nice place to stay, but very old and dirty restrooms!
On the Bayou
The sites are large and private. Our site, #12, was right on the bayou. The park has the usual Mississippi frisbee golf course. Space was reasonably level; the bathrooms are worn but okay.
The staff was very helpful. They went and put our park pass at our site when we were going to arrive after closing time. A staff person also came to the RV to tell us that the power was going to go off for an hour. Good people.
A gem
Lovely huge spaces next to the Lamotte Bayou. Basic bathrooms but clean. Lots of trees. Very friendly and helpful staff; Ranger Mike. Disc golf. What more could you ask for? Loved this place.
