Treacherous for big rigs

The staff was friendly and our check in went smoothly but navigating the very narrow, rocky, uneven and poorly marked "road" within the campground was a nightmare with our 40 ft trailer. The first site we were given was not level and so narrow we were not able to open our slides. The site we finally managed to get our rig in was very rocky and sloped so badly we were afraid of falling downhill when exiting our front door, also our sewer connection was uphill. There are lots of trees which makes for a lovely park but very difficult to maneuver with a large rig. We were given a wifi code but not the name of the network so I was unable to use it. According to the office there are cement pad sites at the front of the park; I recommend anyone with a large unit to use those sites. The office did waive the activity fee as we had no children with us. Because the size of our rig we will not go back but if you have a small camper and children it's a great park.

not so family friendly

I have reservations for campersite, while getting camper ready I notice the camper air is not working (95-100 degree days). So I call to see if I can pay more for cabin rental they have a cabin available for those days at 2x rate of camper which I am ok with paying but was told I would have to pay camper fee ( over $300) and the cabin fee also (over $300) I had read reviews before on how they are not helpful or
flexable I guess this will be a $300 lesson learned. I have stayed on several times in past but will never reserve again. Beware and
read all the reviews and hope you do not have any unavoidable issues you need help with.

cabin not ready

We had a 3:00 check-in, arrived at 2:15 stopped by office and paid then went on to swim while we waited to pick key up at 3:00. Went for key at 4:30( office closes at 5:00) our cabin was not ready, did not get in cabin til 5:00. Came by the cabin as staff went in to clean, they were out in less than 10 minutes not sure how clean that can be. No aplogy offered, no discount or cupons for later use. Also was disappointed that smoking and open beer containers were allowed in swimming area by kiddy pool, saw beer on two separate occasions. Game room was not maintained, several machines out of order, pool table only had 5 balls and no cue ball.
