Awesome
Friendly staff! Large gravel level lots, local hot springs and golf course just walking distance.
Peaceful Fall Destination
A nice RV park within walking distance of Fairmont Hot springs and Resort. Very clean restrooms. Very quiet and peaceful in the late fall. I only wish their WiFi was faster, it is very slow.
Favorite campground this trip!
Cleanest showers and bathrooms of our two week journey! Friendly staff, great location close to the hot springs, beautiful hills and fields surround this quiet and clean campground. Wide spots with actual grass between them! (We have stayed at a lot with dirt, gravel or wood chips). We'll be back!
Nice park not far from highway
We did not plan on stopping but looked like it might rain so we pulled in. Not fancy but nice park and price is good. We decided to stay another night and the young woman in the office worked with us to fit us in. Helpful staff.
OK to spend the night
This park has decent sites with reasonably good spacing. Not well shaded. Next to golf course and hot springs. The nice thing is it is 2 miles off the interstate so no road noise. I wouldn't make this a destination but it is a good park for spending the night.
Interesting
I try not to let the other campers influence my review because they too are only staying there for a limited time. But when we have quite a few campers influencing us negatively, we tend to think that it's the surroundings, the RV park. We noticed that the park was a bit unkept..... Grass is brown, what trees they had were not trimmed etc. I made a reservation for two nights over a week before we showed up, I felt like we were placed in an overflow. No trees at all, when the other campers arrived around us, one had rope Christmas lights stung outside all night, the other neighbor allowed their dog to bark until past 11 pm as she yelled at her kids and last, but definitely not least, there was a camper that was allowed to park their RV on the road to the front of our trailer, so we had to do a bit of manipulation to park our truck the next night in front of our 5th wheel.
OK not everything was bad....As a camper at the RV park you are allow to buy full day passes at the local Fairmont Hotsprings Resort. We used them in the morning, was allowed to leave to do what ever, then returned that afternoon to swim and slide again.
