Park
Was quoted price of $30 per night. Arrived less than 1 hour later and was told price was $35. I told them I had just called and was quoted $30. The girl said the "call center"
quoted the wrong price, not her. She said it
was only $5 more. Restrooms were porta pottys!
Showers were dirty and long wait. Unlevel rock spaces. Very close together. Besides the young man working in the office, all the staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Next time I return will not be in July or August and I will stay in the National Park for $10.
Nothing special
We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2011. We stayed in the 50 amp area because of the record heat while we were there. The 50 amp are back-in. There was lots of evidence of the flooding that occurred in the Spring, but you can't blame them of that. I would stay here again. If it wasn't so hot I would have stayed in the 30 amp area.
Generous 2 rating
We needed electric for A/C. Record heat in ND for the next few days.
As previous reviewer stated, roads and sites are powdery, dusty dirt with no gravel. Sites are rutted from rainy season. Picnic tables are horrible. Price has gone up. $30 now with no discounts for any club, etc.
It's a RV park.
It's about the only park you can stay at. Nothing to write home to Mom about. Dirt roads with large shaded spaces. That is it..... But safe.
