Small Convenient Park
We stayed here from October 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014. It is convenient to Durango, Colorado, the San Juan River, Chaco Canyon, Aztec Ruins National Monument. The primary reason for being here is the trout fishing on the San Juan River. Although WiFi is provided here, it was not excellent. The network was up and down constantly. There are some rv parks closer to the river but cell phone service is weak and WiFi is not widely available.
Reservations here are advised as this is an oilfield town and they may be full if you just happen to show up unannounced.
The Animas River borders the park and was a wonderful place to walk our dog.
