Crowded park

Cons: Park very crowded. Pool = broken. Playground = broken. Staff seem grouchy. Other guests park in the road and block the driveway (back-in spots look small).
Pros: good water pressure! Bring a pressure regulator. Spacious pull-through.
We would try another park if we came through here again.

Friendly Stuff

Very friendly Stuff and a very helpful RV Dealer near bye. The Pool is hot and indoor, but the Restrooms are very old and the WiFi very slow!

Very Nice Campground owners

We stayed a couple of nights. It was fairly close to the caverns. The campground had long pull thru spots. 2 dog parks. We left without our jack plates and the owner was kind enough to look up our number and call us before we were too far away. Indoor pool and playground. I liked the Iris flowers they had planted. We would stay here again.

Deserted

Not too far from the caverns. It was windy and cold in the middle of the night when we arrived there..nobody occupied the park, it looks so creepy. The next morning we noticed the park is dirty.. There's a goat pit and horses. With junky old cars.

Nice and close to Carlsbad Caverns

This is a great park for a number of reasons for us. Clean, great laundry, indoor pool (avoiding the wind/dust of the desert), awesome game room for the kids and an amazing playground. The showers weren't too bad either. The kids loved this playground more than any of the others we've been at since becoming nomads. As an adult though, it was kind of blah....the caverns were great, but nothing much else to do in town and we pretty much had to get our food at Walmart (not a plus). The wifi was good as well.

Not Bad

We were just there. Pool is now open and nice. Our 12 and 14 year old had fun swimming, using the tire swing, and playing ping pong (just have to spend $0.25 for your ball).

Taxes run an additional $7/night. Be prepared for lots of dust/dirt if the weather is windy. Passport is good for 2 nights, we used a Good Sams discount (10%) for the following nights.

The wi-fi even worked.

Nice place for kids

We found a nice little Passport America RV Park in Carlsbad, New Mexico, The Carlsbad RV Park, so we could see the sites nearby. We also met another full-time family here, they had six kids! It is cool to see our kids making friends with other kids at RV Parks and other places we go.
Nearby - Besides Carlsbad Caverns and Gaudalupe Mountains National Park, Roswell is close by. There are also a few state parks and Lincoln National Forest, the Sacramento Mountains and lots of other things to see. Staff was Helpful staff, but not excellent.

Some trees and the mountains are in view. We paid 17.00 a night for two nights with our Passport America card.

Decent bathrooms with four showers in each of them. Bathrooms have coded locks. Roominess was Average size sites for RV Park.

They have an indoor pool which was closed for renovation. Nice playground, some ponies for petting and some turtles which were hibernating. Big game room and a free DVD library for borrowing.

Cleanliness - Average.

Laundry facility was decent, but my wife has a story to tell about an impatient camper who took our undies out of the washer! Nice little store. No propane. Pull-through sites, dog run.

We would give our recommendation for this RV Park for those visiting the Carlsbad area!
